How long is the consultation?

The consultations are up to two hours. We have a conversation at the location about the lifestyle of the people living in their home and their expectations and then we will do a walk through to the areas they want us to work on.

What could the client expect from the consultation?

During the consultation we visit every room and evaluate what improvements and changes we can make to better stage the areas. We give them ideas and suggestions on how to declutter the room and closets, how to remove or rearrange the furniture to open the space and make it neat and clean. We give them suggestions about colors, textures, pictures, accents and decorations.
We are also color consultants, so if they are interested in investing some money in painting the rooms or doing other improvements to the house, we could work with them on that during the consultation.

What does the client need to do before the consultation day?

The first step is to schedule a time and date for the consultation. Which can be done by phone or email or they could set it up from our website.
We then send a payment request and a guideline to take pictures and complete a form with some questions about the house (location, number of rooms, # of people living in the house, pets, etc) to complete and send back to us.

Is the consultation completed in two hours?

The in person or virtual consultation is done in two hours. During the consultation we give the homeowners a list of tasks to be done get the house ready to list. After the consultation we send to the homeowner a  package including:

  • PDF detailing all the suggestions and ideas we talked during the consultation. We include there a to do list of tasks to be done in every room to complete the staging
  • Suggestions and ideas of items to purchase to complete the staging with links to stores with different options for each item
  • Photographer and listing suggestions

Does the consultation include hands on work?

The two hour consultation does not include hands on work. We offer hands on work for those clients who prefer us to do the staging process or need help moving furniture around. We also offer to bring items from our inventory (furniture and accents) to complete the staging if it is necessary. We charge $50 the hour for the hands on and we could provide the client with an estimate for hands on services and/or rental inventory.
The consultation is paid before the scheduled day.

What areas do you cover?

We are located in Annapolis. We cover one hour driving from there for in person consultation. We are able to do virtual consultation (through FaceTime or Zoom) at any location within US.

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept credit cards. We charge a 3.8% to credit card payments. The consultation could be pay by check without any extra charge.
